How I Work With Buyers:

There are 3 integral parts to the Buying process of any investment property, business, or even a second home. The first task is to locate a suitable property. Next comes negotiating the best deal both in price and in the conditions and terms of the contract. Finally there’s orchestrating due diligence including building inspections, appraisals, engineering reports, and financing.

Thomas Smith brings 30-years of experience, first hand know how, and a wealth of creativity to every aspect of the real estate process. Much of my experience comes from 20-years as a principal myself, having purchased, owned and managed every type of investment real estate including apartments, office buildings, shopping centres, mobile home parks, industrial properties and raw land. As well I have owned and run businesses including manufacturing, retail, and technology. This gives me the vantage point of viewing real estate through the same eyes my investor and business owner clients do. I know my clients concerns, can see both the opportunities and pitfalls, and am geared to finding solutions to those inevitable problems that emerge in the course of almost every real estate transaction.     

I take a Team Approach with my Buyer Clients, jumping in with both feet myself, as an integral part of the process beginning with how best to structure the purchase contract, and then as the deal proceeds through the various stages of due diligence, financing and closing. Working hands on with my Buyer Clients, they have gained the advantage of combining my own thought process, experience and know how, with their own.
